Director of FALCON Commons Success Centers

Felician University is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced, student-focused, goal-oriented student success professional to serve as the Director of our FALCON Commons Success Centers. Reporting to the Dean for Student Success, Retention and assessment, the Director oversees the daily operations and strategic direction of the FALCON Commons Success Centers, dedicated locations offering wrap-around services and providing “one-stop” advisor, career, and financial services to ensure progression towards graduation and career success. S/he leads efforts to enhance student retention, persistence, and overall success by coordinating cross-campus initiatives and providing comprehensive student support services. The Director supervises and develops staff, collaborates with academic and administrative offices, implements innovative programs to improve student experience, provides regular reports to all relevant University constituencies and assists with undergraduate student advising.

Position Type:

Full-time, 12-months, Exempt

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field required, Master’s degree preferred

Qualifications:

Three+ years’ of project management experience, preferably in higher education; demonstrated experience with assessment and evaluation; proven experience working with students of diverse backgrounds; ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external state official offices; demonstrated skills in generating comprehensive reports that synthesize complex data into actionable insights; superior written and verbal communications skills; strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize data for reporting; demonstrated ability to work autonomously with multiple priorities and deadlines, adaptability to meet customer needs; detail oriented with ability to multi-task; fluency in Spanish preferred; willingness and ability to support and promote the Franciscan Felician mission and values of the University.
