Felician University is presently seeking an industrious, highly organized and energic Information Technology professional to serve as the IT Help Desk Support Technician. Under general supervision, the Help Desk Support Technician provides front-line technical support to University computer users. S/he performs a wide variety of basic and advanced technical support duties, including but not limited to resolving hardware and software challenges via telephone, email or onsite assistance

Qualifications:
2+ years’ relevant desktop support experience; demonstrated experience using and troubleshooting Microsoft Offices applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive, MS Teams); proven experience manageing Outlook within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, archiving and delegation); comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems with emphasis on Windows desktop technologies (Windows 10 and 11); solid understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration and imaging computers; familiarity with “Smart” board configuration and setup; ability to prioritize, organize, problem solve and meet deadlines; willingness and ability to work flex hours including evening and weekends, if needed; professional demeanor and appearance; well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and communicate with diverse populations clearly during both telephone and in-person interactions; well-developed organizational skills, with a high degree of personal motivation, self-management and detail-orientation;ability and willingness ot support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.
