First Signs Infant Program
A study is underway at Felician University to assess the impact of a new early infant program for promoting gains in pivotal areas of child development.
About the Study
- The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of a developmentally appropriate play-based early intervention program that may help promote growth in areas that research has shown very important.
- Younger siblings of children with ASD will participate in periodic assessments and an early intervention program.
- Our team will work directly with each parent and infant and provide training over 10 individual sessions each lasting approximately 50 minutes. Subsequently parents and their children will invited to participate in a “parent and me” series of six sessions. All sessions will occur at Felician University.
Participant Eligibility
- Infants between 2 to 6 months of age who has an older sibling with ASD.
