The Center for Career and Academic Success provides resources and programs to help students explore and define their academic and career interests, gain related experience, and prepare for employment or graduate school. The Center supports the Felician Franciscan mission of the University by promoting experiential learning, encouraging reflection and ongoing skills development, and connecting students with a network of employers and alumni.
The Career and Experiential Learning team provides students with assistance in the following areas:
- Major and career exploration
- Internship search and registration for academic credit
- Preparing resumes, cover letters, professional portfolios
- Practice interviews and networking
- On-campus employment
- Job search resources and strategies
- Access to online resources, including Symplicity, FOCUS-2, What Can I Do with This Major? and Big Interview
- Check out our NEW online resource, the Indeed Job Search Academy! This is a free, virtual platform hosted by Indeed, created to help you excel in your job search. The program focuses on mastering the 5 key areas of the job search so you feel confident every step of the way.
Find us in Falcon Commons on both the Rutherford (BMA, next to the Mailroom) and Lodi (Obal Hall, lower level) campuses for an overview of our services and one-on-one meetings with career advisors.
Students and alumni may schedule virtual and in-person appointments with career advisors through Symplicity.
