The 62nd Annual Commencement Ceremonies

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

Graduation is a significant milestone that marks the many years of hard work, dedication and personal growth. The Felician Community is honored and proud to celebrate this momentous occasion with its graduates, families, friends and loved ones.

Welcome Address From the President

Good morning graduates, families, faculty, trustees, honored guests, and members of the Felician community.

Today we celebrate more than a degree–we celebrate your transformation. This moment reflects years of hard work, sacrifice, and the dreams of those who believed in you.

Whether you are first-generation or continuing a family tradition, you are pioneers–dreamers turned doers, proof that faith and determination can shape destiny.

At Felician, we do more than educate, we form hearts, instill purpose, and prepare you to serve. Rooted in our Catholic mission and Blessed Mary Angela’s call: “Where there is need, we must go”, you have been shaped to lead with meaning.

You graduate into a world marked by both challenge and possibility–conflict in many regions, and rapid advances in artificial intelligence that are reshaping how we live and work. In such a time, the world does not just need knowledge, it needs leaders with wisdom, integrity, and compassion.

As Pope Leo reminds us, we are called to be bold in mercy, strong in truth, and tireless in hope. In a world of uncertainty, your greatest strength will be not just what you know, but who you are: people who listen, who act with integrity, and who ensure that innovation never outpaces humanity.

These values are the heart of Felician. Here, they were not just taught, they were lived. You were supported, challenged, and believed in. That is what makes this community your lifelong home.

As you go forward, carry this with you: you were formed not only as graduates, but as leaders, healers, and peacemakers.

The world now needs your:

· Competence — to navigate complexity.

· Character — to stand for what is right.

· Compassion — to lead with humanity.

Class of 2026, you are ready, not because the world is easy, but because you are prepared.

And remember, Felician needs you, too! One day, we will look to you to return, to guide, to mentor, and to inspire those who will follow in your footsteps. As Golden Falcons, you remain part of this community always. Together, we must steward this flock with gratitude, ensuring that its spirit, its mission, and its promise endure for generations to come.

We are proud of you.

Congratulations, and may God bless your journey.
