Young Investors Club: Financial Foundations & Practical Applications

Program Overview  

The Young Investors Club Camp at Felician University introduces students to financial literacy and entrepreneurship through engaging lessons, simulations, and hands-on activities. Designed to build confidence and real-world economic understanding, this immersive experience equips students with practical skills in personal finance, investing, and business thinking—skills that last a lifetime.  

Participants explore budgeting, the stock market, business creation, and strategic financial decision-making through interactive, real-world scenarios that make complex financial concepts accessible and exciting.  

Program Details 

Ages: 12–18 (Grades 8–12)  

Session Options: One- to four-week sessions (students may attend one or multiple weeks)  

Cost: $650 per week

Week 1: Budgeting  
Students learn the foundations of personal finance, including income management, saving strategies, and responsible spending.  

Week 2: Stock Markets  
An introduction to investing, market fundamentals, risk and reward, and how stocks and portfolios work in real-world scenarios.  

Week 3: Business Creation  
Students explore entrepreneurship by developing business ideas, understanding costs and revenue, and learning the basics of launching a venture.

The Social Media & Radio Broadcasting Camp at Felician University offers students immersive, hands-on experience at the intersection of Business, Communications, and Technology. Centered on Felician’s campus radio station, this dynamic program provides real-world exposure to media production, branding, and digital communication while strengthening professional and technical skills.  

Students explore how media, branding, technology, and fan engagement power the fast-growing worlds of content creation and brand marketing. Through experiential learning, participants gain practical skills in marketing, sponsorships, content creation, and event management—preparing them for future academic and career pathways in media-driven industries.

Offered in a safe, controlled environment, this immersive summer program helps students understand how digital systems are protected—and how vulnerabilities are identified and addressed ethically.  

Participants explore core security principles, including the CIA Triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability), while gaining practical experience with ethical hacking techniques. The program builds critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills that are foundational for future study and careers in cybersecurity.

The Sports, Entertainment & Gaming Management Camp at Felician University is a four-week, immersive summer experience that introduces students to the business behind sports, music, entertainment, gaming, and esports. This dynamic program explores how fast-paced industries create value through marketing, media, technology, and fan engagement. 

Participants gain hands-on insight into branding, sponsorships, sales, and event management while developing practical business skills used by professionals across sports and entertainment organizations. Through real-world examples and experiential learning, students discover how strategy, creativity, and technology drive some of the world’s most influential industries. 

Program Format 

Program Length: Four-week immersive experience 

Cost: $650 per week

Nursing Know How: Summer Nursing Immersion Program  

Explore Nursing. Experience in College. Prepare for the Future. 

The Summer Nursing Immersion Program is a two-week, on-campus experience designed for high school students interested in nursing and health professions. Through experiential learning, simulation-based activities, and guided exploration, students gain an authentic introduction to nursing education, clinical practice, and university life.  

Program Overview  

Students explore the nursing profession in a supportive, engaging environment that emphasizes exposure over skill mastery. Activities are developmentally appropriate and focus on teamwork, reflection, wellness, and informed career exploration.  

Participants engage with nursing faculty, current nursing students, healthcare professionals, and simulation staff while learning foundational concepts and gaining insight into the student nurse experience.

Audience: High School Freshmen through Rising Seniors  

Dates: July 6–9 and July 13–16 (Monday–Thursday)  

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (1-hour lunch)

The STEM College Immersion Program is an intensive, two-week, in-person experience designed to expand early college access and strengthen STEM pathways for motivated high school students. Through faculty-led instruction, hands-on laboratory work, and industry engagement, participants gain immersive exposure to college-level STEM education and real-world applications. 

Students explore core STEM disciplines—biology, microbiology, chemistry, and physics—through a structured blend of lectures, laboratory experiments, and professional demonstrations. In partnership with industry leaders in clinical research, the program connects academic learning to practical relevance while highlighting STEM career opportunities. 

This pilot program offers a rigorous, supportive environment for students ready to experience the pace and expectations of university-level STEM coursework.

Online Gaming & eSports Program

Program Overview 

The Online Gaming & Esports Program introduces students to competitive gaming through a structured, instructor-led, and educational experience. Designed to build leadership, teamwork, communication, and strategic thinking, this program uses games as learning platforms—not free play. 

Students engage in supervised online gameplay while exploring how esports intersect with technology, digital ethics, collaboration, and problem-solving. Emphasis is placed on responsible digital participation, reflection, and goal-driven competition. 

Program Details 

Ages: 12+ (Grades 6–12) 

Dates: Monday, July 6 – Friday, July 30 

Cost: $650 per week

Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Format: Structured, instructor-led online gaming experience

The Basketball College Skills Camp is a high-energy, skill-focused training experience led by Felician University NCAA Division II coaches. Designed for motivated middle and high school athletes, this program delivers hands-on coaching, competitive play, and leadership development in a collegiate training environment. 

Program Overview 

Athletes receive direct instruction from college coaches while developing the technical, tactical, and mental skills required to succeed at the next level. Training emphasizes game-ready skills, basketball IQ, and leadership—reinforced through competitive drills, film review, and live play. 

What Athletes Will Experience 

  • Hands-on coaching from Felician University Division II basketball coaches 
  • Skill development in shooting, ball-handling, footwork, defense, and game IQ 
  • Position-specific training to maximize on-court impact 
  • Small-group drills and competitive 5-on-5 play 
  • Film review and individualized performance feedback 
  • Team-building and leadership sessions to develop confidence and mental toughness 

 

Program Details 

Daily training blends instruction, drills, competition, and reflection to reinforce learning in real-game scenarios. Athletes are challenged to grow both individually and as teammates.
