Felician University Employee Recognition and Service Awards Ceremony
Felician University paid tribute to employees who have served the University for 5, 10,15, 20 years, and more, at its annual Employee Recognition and Service Awards Ceremony held in Breslin Hall on Wednesday, September 22.
Opening Prayers were offered by Tom Truchan, CFO and Vice President of Business and Finance, who said, “I ask that you bless this team, bless this University, and bless everyone who works here to help us carry out and succeed in our endeavors.”
Maura DeNicola, Vice President of Externals Affairs, began the ceremony by saying, “Our mission is to bring each individual student to their highest potential and in doing that instill in them the competence, character, and compassion that will differentiate them as graduates, and make them the change makers the world needs. Today gives us the opportunity to express our gratitude to those who make that happen with unwavering dedication and commitment, each and every day, you, our faculty and staff. Without you there is no mission.”
Each employee was presented with an etched glass award at the ceremony. In his remarks, President James W. Crawford III said, “These representations of our appreciation are valuable not because of their intrinsic value but because of the message I hope you receive from them that you are valuable. When I think about this day, we can never do enough to say thank you to you, and all of our colleagues, for what you do here at Felician University.”
