Felician University is offering an exciting opportunity for a goal-oriented admissions counselor for transfer, adult, and accelerated/online degree completion students. The position manages a defined recruitment portfolio, which may include community college partnerships, corporate and organizational partners, and prospective adult learners. The position represents the university’s transfer and accelerated programs offerings to prospective students, community college advisors, and partner institutions. The position is a twelve-month full-time appointment. The counselor evaluates transcripts and prior coursework for preliminary transferability, determines admissibility in accordance with university policy, and guides applicants through the initial enrollment process. This position is eligible for flexible work in accordance with university policy.

Required Education:
Associate’s degree required, BA/BS preferred.
Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,900
Qualifications:
Experience with Slate CRM System preferred, advanced analytical, critical thinking, problem recognition/avoidance/resolution skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, valid driver’s license, ability and willingness to travel, excellent platform (public speaking) skills, well-developed organizational and time management skills, highly advanced interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people, availability and willingness to work evening and weekend hours as needed, demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in interacting with students, faculty, staff and other internal and external stakeholders, knowledge of computer databases and information systems, and the ability and willingness to support and promote the Felician Franciscan core values and mission of the University.
