OTA Program Announces 7-Year Accreditation
RUTHERFORD, NJ – Felician University’s new Occupational Therapy Assistant Program has successfully completed and received accreditation status for a period of 7 years by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).
Felician OTA program graduates are awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree, which deems them eligible to sit for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant exam administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Once successfully completed, these Felician graduates will become Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
The program establishes high educational standards to facilitate the development of future leaders to provide collaborative, effective, client-centered, outcome-based occupational therapy services within the ever-changing environments and demands in healthcare.
