Race and Criminal Justice in America Lecture
Felician University’s Committee on Leadership and Social Justice is sponsoring a series of events this year on the topic of “Race and Criminal Justice in America.”
The first event, co-sponsored by the Pre-Law Program, is titled “Racial Profiling in Bloomfield?” and will feature Professor Mark Denbeaux of Seton Hall University Law School. Professor Denbeaux is the primary author of a controversial report, “Racial Profiling Report: Bloomfield Police and Municipal Court.” This report was the subject of a Vice News documentary, and was also featured on NPR.
The event will take place Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 6.30 p.m. in the main auditorium of the Education Commons on the Rutherford campus. The event is free, and all are welcome.
If you have any questions or would like more information, contact Dr. Irfan Khawaja.
