Felician Student Travels to Antarctica
Felician University student Christopher Hall, a senior business major, is having the experience of a lifetime. Through his work as a Marketing/Business Development intern with P3 Global Management, Chris was presented with the opportunity to travel to Antarctica with 2041 Foundation.
Founded by Robert Swan, the first man ever to walk across both poles, 2041 Foundation is an NGO established for the preservation of Antarctica by the promotion of recycling, renewable energy and sustainability to combat the effects of climate change. The mission of the 2041 Foundation is to take groups of approximately 150 adventurers from all over the world to the Antarctic each year to build personal leadership skills among people who choose to embrace the challenge of sustaining all forms of life – in their families, communities, organizations and the planet.
“I am so pleased and excited that Felician student Chris Hall has been granted this opportunity,” said Dr. Anne Prisco, president. “I am sure it will be an exhilarating and unpredictable adventure, and I look forward to him sharing this experience with the Felician community when he returns.”
