Master of Science in Healthcare Administration

Conducting business within the healthcare system requires you to integrate strategic skills with compassion, resulting in a human-centered approach. Through experiential learning and a cohort model, you’ll discover how to manage, make critical decisions, and problem-solve with ethical professionalism.

As one of the few universities in New Jersey to offer a Healthcare Administration program, Felician has designed a unique curriculum that is guaranteed to prepare you for success in the healthcare system itself or within other industries that influence the healthcare system.

Because Felician has one of the top Nursing Schools in the nation, the School of Business has been able to communicate with top healthcare professionals and has built this program with a keen understanding of what the future of the healthcare system will need in order to thrive. As you take courses in healthcare policy, human resources, organizational performance and ethics, healthcare information systems, and more, you’ll become knowledgeable and equipped to handle complex, real-life situations.

Felician’s MSHA is a 39-credit program that can be completed in just two years via a blended learning model.Throughout the program, you will work to develop a professional portfolio that displays the competencies sought out by employers at hospitals and other healthcare settings. This portfolio will reflect all the work you have completed throughout the program, including extensive analyses of case studies and healthcare projects that are conducted outside of the classroom.

An MSHA from Felician University will empower you to progress in your career while creatively solving how to best manage the dynamic elements of the healthcare environment. With flexible scheduling and an innovative curriculum that uses Felician’s combination of business knowledge and healthcare expertise, you’ll become marketable, knowledgeable, and prepared.

Felician is also just ten miles away from New York City, the microcosm with over 220,000 businesses, allowing you to gain hands-on experience that can be used in your career. You can take trips with fellow students and faculty to the New York Stock Exchange, search for internship and job opportunities, network with professionals from all over, and experience one of the world’s most advanced healthcare centers.
