Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an energetic and goal-oriented individual with coaching experience in collegiate men’s baseball to serve as the part-time Assistant Coach for our Junior Varsity baseball team. The Assistant Coach serves as a primary instructor for players, as well as assisting the Head Coach in the supervision all aspects of a NCAA national Collegiate Men’s Baseball program. Reporting to the Head Baseball Coach, the Assistant Coach assists in the preparation and execution of individual and team practices, training and competition; identifying and recruiting potential men’s baseball student-athletes, including email, phone and mail correspondence; monitoring players’ academic progress; and complying with all aspects of the Felician University Coach’s manual.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required, significant applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Qualifications:
2+ years’ successful baseball coaching experience; comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; ability to work well with a diverse group of student athletes; well-developed leadership skills; outstanding organizational and follow through skills; strong commitment to support and promote the Franciscan Felician values and function effectively within a Catholic University environment.
