Undergraduate Scholarships & Financial Aid
Not only do we aim to make college more affordable by keeping the cost low, but we are also very generous with scholarships. Felician College Admission Scholarships are designed to reward students for academic achievement and help you pay for college. You’re automatically qualified for these scholarships once you’re admitted to Felician.
2013-2014 SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS*
Approximately 80% of incoming new students received some type of scholarship award.
*Scholarships are subject to change. The scholarship is renewable for four years so long as students maintain eligibility.
Scholarships are based on a holistic review of student academic record, in combination with your standardized test scores, rank in class, overall academic rigor of your curriculum and overall potential to succeed. Academic merit scholarships award guidelines are listed below:
2.5 - 2.99 $4,000 to $10,500*
3.00 - 4.0 $4,500 to Full Tuition*
*Transfer Scholarships are only available if you have not received any prior discounts. Transfer Scholarships are based on the college GPA for students who have more than 12 credits. If you have been to several colleges within a three-year period, we will calculate your GPA from all colleges attended. If you are currently at a college and have been there for three or more years, we will only use that GPA and not prior colleges if you have accumulated more than 12 credits.
2.75 - 4.0 $4,000 to $10,000
FINANCIAL AID Students are strongly encouraged to file the FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) TO DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY FOR ADDITONAL NEED-BASED AID.
In addition to scholarships from Felician College students are encourage to file the Free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine their eligibility for additional need-based financial aid. Filing the FAFSA is very important because, in addition to possibly qualifying you for additional need-based grant funds, the FAFSA is the only way to qualify for low interest federal student loans. Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by April 1 for the fall semester or November 1 for the spring semester. You should apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Applying online is recommended, as it is quicker and more efficient.
