Student Athletes Excel in Classroom

Felician College students are showing their excellence on the field of play as well as in the classroom. Sixteen Felician student athletes have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Fall 2013 All-Academic Team, the CACC recently announced.

Senior Alysia Arcona and the women's soccer team highlighted the Felician list.  Arcona, a two-time Capital One Academic All-American in women's soccer, earned her third CACC All-Academic Award, the maximum possible in one sport. Her team claimed 11 honorees, breaking its own school record (set last year with nine) for one sport in one year. The 16 overall winners match the number Felician sported in Fall, 2012.

The academic requirement for inclusion to the CACC All-Academic Team is a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher. In all, 184 student-athletes from the CACC's 14 member schools were honored this fall. Felician's recipients are listed below with major course of study.
