7th Annual John Paul II Lecture on April 24

Fr. David B. Couturier is guest speaker for 7th annual Pope John Paul II Lecture on Lodi campus.

Felician College and the Order of Malta proudly present the 7th Annual Pope John Paul II Lecture on Social Justice. This year's topic is "A Franciscan Theology of Stuff: Human Trafficking, Consumerism and Franciscan Action."

Guest speaker is Fr. David B. Couturier, OFM Cap., Ph.D., D.Min. Trained as a psychotherapist and organizational development specialist, Fr. Couturier has served as President of Franciscans International, the non-governmental organization at the United Nations. He has taught at the Graduate Theological Foundation in Indiana, St. Bonaventure University New York, and Pontifical Antonianum University in Rome.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, April 24 at 7 p.m. in the Lecture Hall (second floor) of Obal Hall on the Lodi campus (262 S. Main Street, Lodi, N.J.)

The event is free and open to the public. Goodwill donations will be accepted in the lobby to benefit Felician Outreach Programs.
