Historic Iviswold Castle—a Rutherford landmark—stands majestically at the center of the Rutherford campus. An extensive restoration and renovation of The Castle is nearing completion and has uncovered historical treasures such as a hand-painted ceiling mural, Italian marble, onyx and mirror fireplaces, chandeliers, and beautiful woodwork. This showcase building, built in 1869 and expanded to its current three stories in 1887, will soon be home to key administrative offices; a stunning chapel, student lounge and study space; the College's offices of Admission, Alumni and Institutional Advancement; and beautifully appointed meeting spaces and reception facilities available to the College community and the public. Parking is available in several large lots nearby.
