Felician College is recognized internationally as a nursing education leader. The following degree and certificate programs prepare nurses to assume leadership roles within the global society of professional nursing and health care. The nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and the New Jersey State Board of Nursing. The School Nurse/Teacher of Health Education Certificate Program is approved by the State of New Jersey Department of Education.

BSN Degree - High School Seniors and Transfer Students

The Traditional Four Year BSN Program prepares students with a broad education grounded in the religious mission of the college, liberal arts, sciences, nursing theory and practice. You will begin your nursing sequence in the freshman year. As a nursing major, you will apply your nursing knowledge in a variety of health care settings and facilities under the guidance of very distinguished faculty. The curriculum culminates with a Clinical Residency in your senior year to bridge the transitional role from student to staff nurse. Graduates of the program are eligible to apply to the State Board of Nursing to take the RN-NCLEX examination and qualify for admission to graduate study. 133 Credits

Accelerated BSN Program for Adults with Non Nursing Bachelor's Degree

The Bachelor’s to BSN Program is an accelerated full-time nursing program. The program is designed for working adults who have a bachelor or master’s degree and work experience in a discipline other than nursing. Students applying to the program are required to demonstrate the academic ability to successfully engage in an accelerated program of study. Students can complete the six-semester accelerated nursing sequence in 18 months of concentrated full time study.

Students needing prerequisite courses must satisfy those requirements prior to enrolling in the nursing sequence. The program prepares the student to take the NCLEX-RN examination upon successful completion of the program. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is awarded upon the successful completion of the program. Students qualifies for admission to graduate study.   75 Credits

Students who have been unsuccessful in another nursing program are ineligible to apply.
