Occupational Therapy

The Occupational Program provides is coordinated with the Sage Graduate School, providing students with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Felician and preferred early admission into the Master of Science degree program in Occupational Therapy offered by Sage Graduate School.

Requirements for admission to the graduate program are the following:

  • Earned Baccalaureate degree
  • Minimum overall 3.25 GPA that includes the completion of occupational therapy program prerequisite courses with grades of C or better
  • Submission by June 1 of completed Graduate application packet with supplemental documents (fee waived) including current resume, clinical observation form, program prerequisites record, OT program academic standards statement, and career goals statement/ personal essay. Forms can be found at:
  • Submission of official transcripts from all college institutions attended
  • Submission of one letter of reference from the Felician College psychology or sociology faculty, or equivalent faculty representative
  • Within 30 days of acceptance, submission of enrollment deposit of $50 (non-refundable, though to be applied toward graduate tuition)
  • Upon graduation from Felician College, submission of official transcripts documenting completion of undergraduate degree and OT Program prerequisite courses and Clinical Observation Document including 20 hours of clinical observation with an occupational therapist.

Note: The minimal satisfaction of entrance requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the professional portion of the program. The final decision for acceptance rests with the professional school.
