Second Annual Business Symposium to Feature Firebomb Victim Rabbi Nosson Schuman as Keynote Speaker

The Business Division of Felician College will host its second annual Business Symposium on Saturday April 21, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place on the College’s Rutherford Campus, 223 Montross Avenue. Registration will be in

 Sammartino Hall at 9 a.m.


The symposium’s first session will feature two panel discussions: “Using the Disciplines to Grow Your Career,” and “Alumni Entrepreneurs.”


The second session’s discussions are titled "The Business of Healthcare Administration" and "Military Entrepreneurs."

 Panelists for the sessions include Felician College business faculty and alumni who have launched their own businesses, including former Bergen County Sheriff Leo McGuire and CBS News military analyst Mike Lyons.

The keynote speaker will be Rabbi Nosson Schuman, spiritual leader of Congregation Beth-El in Rutherford. His talk is titled “Leadership in Times of Crisis.” Schuman, his family and congregation were thrust into the national spotlight when the Rabbi’s home was fire bombed earlier this year.
