Archbishop Hebda Celebrates Lenten Mass

Archbishop Bernard Hebda visited Felician College where he celebrated Lenten Mass.

The Most Reverend Bernard Anthony Hebda, Coadjutor Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Newark, was the main celebrant and homilist at Felician College’s Lenten Liturgy last week.

The Archbishop’s homily focused on the importance of sacrifice and giving of oneself, especially during the season of Lent. In a special ceremony, he also blessed the College’s newly acquired San Damiano Cross, which was a gift from a private donor.

Prior to celebrating Mass in the Breslin Auditorium on the Lodi campus, Archbishop Hebda visited the College’s Rutherford campus. He later met with administration, staff and students.
