Sherida Yoder, Ph.D. Professor of English

Dr. Yoder has worked at Felician College for more than twenty-seven years. She grew up in Paterson, New Jersey, and graduated from Eastside High School. After earning a degree in zoology, she studied developmental embryology at Temple University and at Woods Hole Marine Biology Labs in Massachusetts. Subsequently, she studied English literature at Rutgers. Her poetry has earned several awards and is published in various literary journals.

Field of Interest

My specialties are Victorian and Seventeenth Century literature, modern and contemporary literature, biography/autobiography and personal nonfictional prose, women’s literature, and creative writing.
