Sasha Sinkowsky, Ed.D. Professor of Sociology, Chairperson

Born and raised in Brazil  until 1970.  Came to New Jersey and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, then went on to get a Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University, and a Doctoral Degree from Rutgers University.

Field of Interest

My interests lie in social issues regarding cultural diversity, hence I have developed courses such as Culture and Diversity, Sociology of Race and Ethnicity, Global Problems and Perceptions of Capitalism, Religious Education in Cross Cultural Settings. Other interests lie in social issues regarding gender inequalities, ageism, and social problems such as Domestic Violence and Deviance.
