Michelle Anderson, Ed.D. Assistant Professor and Associate Dean of Graduate Education
My 10+ years in education span the K-12 spectrum in both the secondary classroom and elementary outdoor education environments. For the past 5 years I have worked in higher education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, I have facilitated professional development sessions for local schools and presented at national and state conferences on the topics of differentiated instruction, assessment and integrating Social Studies with the Common Core ELA standards. My research interests include: differentiated instruction, interdisciplinary instruction and student engagement. In my spare time, I am a volunteer for the Montclair Film Festival where I co-chair the student filmmaking competition.
