Vice President of Institutional Advancement
Felician College, an independent co-educational Franciscan college founded and sponsored by the Felician Sisters is seeking a strong advancement professional for the position of Vice President of Institutional Advancement. The Vice President will serve as the College’s chief advancement officer with responsibilities for the friend- and fundraising activities across the College. As one of six vice presidents reporting directly to the President, s/he will actively participate in senior-level decisions regarding College priorities and policies by serving on the President’s Executive Council.
The Vice President of Institutional Advancement will be an experienced Advancement professional possessing a comprehensive knowledge of the local and regional philanthropic community. S/he must be professionally active and possess significant supervisory experience in the field offundraising, a strong knowledge of current fundraising practices and systems in higher education, a proven track record in planning and implementing fundraising programs, and demonstrated experience in recruiting and working with a corps of volunteers. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills, have successful experience with comprehensive campaigns, the ability to represent a values-centered Catholic college and work effectively internally and externally to promote the mission of the institution.
