Admission and Program Requirements - MSN Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Admission Requirements

In addition to a completed application, the following are required:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a program accredited by a national accreditation agency and approved by the Board of Nursing with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
  • Official transcripts of past collegiate work including post-baccalaureate work.
  • Licensure as a registered professional nurse in New Jersey.
  • Two professional and/or academic references.
  • Successful completion of undergraduate courses in:
    • Nursing Research
    • Statistics
    • Pathophysiology
    • Health Assessment
  • Personal statement
