The Bard’s Birthday Bash

Felician celebrates Shakespeare's 450th birthday.

The Department of English and the Felician College Library will celebrate the 450th birthday of William Shakespeare with a conference and series of special presentations on Wednesday, April 23 from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. in the Lecture Hall in Obal Hall on the Lodi campus.

The conference will include short presentations by faculty and staff. Among them are “Shakespeare in Modern Culture,” “Will’s Spirituality: Shakespeare and the Bible,” “Shakespeare’s the Tempest: Postcolonial Musings,” and “Shakespeare in the American Imagination.”

Refreshments will be provided and all are invited.
