Sara Thompson, DNP

Field of Interest

My specialty is community and public health nursing which relates to most of my years of nursing practice. Community nursing focuses health of communities including  my interest in care of vulnerable populations.

An ongoing interest is in global health. I developed and teach the Global Issues in Health and Social Policy which is now a Gen Ed course. I am an alternate representative for Felician College to the UN DPI/NGO.  I am currently president of Mu Theta-at-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, the honor society of nursing. Study abroad or an alternative is in my future.
