Kimberly Burrows, M.S.N
Kimberly Burrows is an instructor in the School of Nursing, prelicensure program, at Felician University. Kimberly Burrows joined the Felician University faculty in 2010.
Kimberly has been a Registered RN since 1996. Throughout her nursing career I have gain invaluable experience in various types of nursing units, such as Med-Surgical, Infectious Disease and Neurology. She specializes in Maternal-Child Nursing. Prior to coming to Felician College she worked for 12 years as a High risk Labor and Delivery nurse at St. Joseph's Medical Center and Children's Hospital. She also had the opportunity to work per diem at Pascack Valley Hospital before it unfortunately closed. In 2010, she received her MSN, with a focus on Nursing Education, from William Paterson University.
Over her academic career, Kimberly has been active in both faculty and in the college community. She is course coordinator of NURS 325 and NURS 326. Beside her teaching responsibilities, she is also the faculty advisor for the Felician College Student Nursing Association. She has given numerous workshops and presentations on nursing simulation at her own college, at state conferences and at national conferences.
