Midnight Run to NYC

During this Lenten season, Campus Ministry is sponsoring two Midnight Runs to NYC – Thursday, March 16, 2017 and Friday, March 31, 2017.

Fr. Rich, Sr. T and students are collecting items to distribute to the poor and hungry who are living on the streets of New York City. Clothing items most needed are: sweaters, hoodies, gloves, warm hats, socks, jeans and men’s underwear (new only, please). Additionally, toiletries needed are travel sizes of: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo and small packs of tissues.

The previous runs were successful in large measure because of the generosity of the Felician community.

During the season of Lent, let us continue to work together to live our Felician Franciscan values and assist the poorest among us. It is truly in giving that we receive.

For your convenience, donation collection boxes are located in Obal Hall (outside Goya Dining Hall), the desk in Kirby Hall, and outside Fr. Rich’s office in the Student Union building in Rutherford.

For more information regarding donations or for information about participating in the Runs, please contact Fr. Rich at kellyr@felician.edu.
