Dear Felician community,
The storm is passed but its devastating impact continues to affect many of our faculty, staff and students, who may still be without power. Others have had damage to their homes and belongings, or are facing transportation disruptions.
We are taking all this into consideration as we resume classes and open our offices again on Monday.
We are asking faculty to consider alternative ways for students to complete assignments and fulfill class requirements during this difficult time. We are also asking that those who are able to get to the College be as considerate and patient as possible while pitching in for those who cannot get here just yet.
Students and staff are welcome to return to campus as soon as they are able, as our buildings are open and food services are available. On-campus activities also will resume, including athletics this weekend.
Sunday Mass will be at 7:30 p.m. on the Rutherford campus and as usual at 11:30 a.m. in Lodi and Rutherford on Monday.
An interfaith prayer service is scheduled for immediately following our Veterans Day service at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
This is also a reminder that the College will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 6 in observance of the federal holiday (Election Day).
This has been a rough time for so many of us, but we should give thanks for what we have and keep each other in our thoughts and prayers always.
We hope to see you all soon. Please stay safe.
Peace and all good.
Dr. Anne Prisco
President, Felician College
