Felician College SVA President Selected to Attend 2014 Leadership Conference

Dominic Fittitzzi, President of the Felician College Student Veteran’s of America (SVA), has been selected to attend the 2014 Leadership Conference to be held at the SVA Institute in Bentonville, Arkansas. Fittitzzi is a junior from Hackensack, New Jersey, and is majoring in business administration. He is a student in Felician’s Bachelor Degree Completion Program and is on the Dean’s List.

The 2014 SVA Institute will be held June 26 through June 29 and in attendance will be business leaders and over 125 student veteran leaders from across the country. The conference is an all-expense paid trip and an opportunity to network with some of the country’s best and brightest. At the conference, Fittitzzi will have the occasion to participate in comprehensive seminars aimed at strengthening the Felician College chapter of the SVA.

The Student Veterans of America exists to provide military veterans with the resources, support and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education through graduation and beyond. It is a 501(C)(3) registered organization focused on the reintegration, and successful pursuit and completion of the higher education goals of the nation’s military veterans. The vision of the SVA is that all veterans succeed in the pursuit of a degree, achieve their academic goals, and gain meaningful employment.
